For a long time I have been interested in both history and art, and I've been searching for a way to express my feelings about this. As a start I read a lot, did drawings and painted in oil on canvas. I still do all of these, but a few years ago I began feeling dissatisfied with my painting. Looking for a new way to make art, I started making computer-related images. When I tried to mix  the different diciplines, new dimensions appeared, and the works turned out even better then I had expected. I liked the result of traditional art and computer art mixed together. I still use the traditional canvas and oil colours, but not as regularly as before. I like to mix the kind of abstract modern art with traditional well-known artists and the old-fashioned way to do portraits. Pasting it all onto my own painted backgrounds and blending it together in pixels helps me to find my way to deal with both the history and my own way to be an artist.

This is my third version of homepage. The first was “Zpectra Paintbox”, which was made by an old friend to me. After a while, I felt, that I have to move on, and develop a new and better place to show my work, a place later called “ZpectraDigitalArtGallery”, hosted by Dencity. It turned out well, and was frequently visited for a couple of years. Since then, I have had a lot of other things to take care of, but now I give the page a face lift.

I am also an antiquarian, old- and rare book–collector, and have collected books since around 1975. I have newly started up “Historiska Biblioteket”, an antiquarian book store with old and rare books in several languages, and you can find a link to the store on this side. Hope You will find this place enjoyable.
